| TURKEY HUNTS SPRING 2010 (Apr. 3 – May 16 – Gobblers Only) Rio Grande Wild Turkeys, which have beautiful metallic bronze plumage, are native to the semi-arid areas of the southern Great Plains states: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Northeastern Mexico. Standard weights at maturity are males or "gobblers"- 20 lbs. and hens 8 to 12 lbs. POOLVILLE RANCH (100 acres) or SPRINGTOWN RANCH (550 acres) : Turkey/Hog Combo The hunts start at $125 per person per day ( DAYLIGHT HOURS ) with three or more hunters - $150 each for two hunters - $200 for one hunter. We have complete weekend hunts from Friday night (Check in 6PM to 8 PM Friday) to Sunday evening (Check out at 2 to 4 PM Sunday) $200 per person with three or more hunters - $225 each for two hunters - $250 for one hunter. This includes over night stay with night hunting so bring your own camper or tents. You can kill your turkey limit and one hog per hunter. These are unguided hunts but we have feeders and blinds on location. These hunts are reserved on a first pay, first serve basis. Please be sure you are in accordance with the law. You can kill one turkey and one hog per hunter. You can also hunt other animals while on your hunt. We have seen hogs, coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats, raccoons, opossums, armadillos, squirrels, rabbits, and all types of animals. Know the seasons and license required. You can bring your own calls to fit your animals of interest. $175 each for 4 or more hunters $200 each for 3 hunters $225 each for 2 hunters $250 for 1 hunter KILL FEES ON THIS LOCATION Fox - $25 each (grey) Fox - $50 each (red) Extra hog - $50 each Bobcat $75 Mountain Lion $250 Other services available: Skin and quarter hogs for $30 each. For $20 you can add a catch & release fishing adventure. We have perch, catfish and bass (most bass are 2 to 6 lb.) in our stock tanks. Bring your equipment and bait. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Albany Ranch 14,433 acres This 14,533 acre ranch offers some of the finest Rio Grande turkey hunting in Texas. With fields, canyons and ridges, our guides are sure to show you some action and opportunities to call up that bearded gobbler. The ranch as two large creeks that run through it providing great roosting locations but with the number of turkeys that live on our property, there are roosting sites all over the ranch. We maintain several green-field plots where the terrain permits. The ranch terrain ranges from mesquite flats to brush canyons and hills areas, some areas are rugged and rocky. The turkeys live in all of these areas. Your guides and personnel know the terrain and the habits of the birds on our property and will do everything to make your hunt successful. All of our guides are turkey hunting fanatics and we want you to know that spring turkey hunting is extremely addictive. LODGING AND MEALS INCLUDED!
